SPILLING VENUS
SPILLING VENUS
An experimental post modern mythological coming-out story. B(l)ending myth, realism, dream sequences and stream-of-consciousness rants, Spilling Venus follows Pandora, a bi-curious African-American writer who struggles to feel sexually satisfied and spiritually awake. Caught between two men—one real and one imagined—Pandora confides in her elusive therapist and a mysterious new woman friend named GG. Spilling Venus pays as much sensual attention to process as it does to outcome to tell the unusual story of one woman’s coming-out journey. One-act. 6 characters. 5 actors. 3 women. 2 men.
